YWCA-MC and Covid-19 Key Facts from the CDC

YWCA-MC is committed to the health and safety of our community during the Covid-19 pandemic. There are countless rumors spreading causing fear and panic. We must not panic but we do need to act.  It is imperative, if you can stay home, please do. Have no doubts by choosing to stay home, you are doing your part. Share the facts. This comes directly from the CDC.

“Here in Monterey County we are preparing for a possible increase in the number of clients we server through increasing safety measures in our shelter while being mindful of the health and wellbeing of our staff. Close working relationships with law enforcement, the courts and other sectors are even more crucial at this time and we are fortunate to have a long-established network of co-responders in the county. Our Crisis Line is staffed 24/7; is is 831-757-1001″ said Christine Duncan, CEO YWCA Monterey County.
