Potential for Covid-19 to Increase Risk to Women and Girls
“Here in Monterey County we are preparing for a possible increase in teh number of clients we server through increasing safety measures in our shelter while being mindful of the health and wellbeing of our staff. Close working relationships with law enforcement, the courts and other sectors are even more crucial at this time and we are fortunate to have a long-established network of co-responders in the county. Our Crisis Line is staffed 24/7; is is 831-757-1001″ said Christine Duncan, CEO YWCA Monterey County.
