YWCA Honors Black History Month

Black History Month

YWCA honors Black History Month. February is Black History Month, which means celebrating and reflecting on a rich history of Black American culture, innovation, and revolution. We’re celebrating the achievements, contributions, & lives of African American women. Below is a Facebook post from the YWCA USA page celebrating the gorgeous Viola Davis, the first Black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a drama for her work on How to Get Away with Murder.

If our mission to eliminate racism and empower women feels like something you can support, please donate today.
